The laser cuts and engraves acrylic with amazing precision , we can cut a 5mm high letter out of 5mm thick acrylic. Inlays are hairline fitted and one can cut contours not possible with other methods.
The cut width of the laser beam is under 0.1 of a mm.

We can cut from 10mm to .0.2mm thick acrylic. In theory we can cut even thicker but the depth of field and the focal length of the lenses we use to collimate the beam does not allow this with great success.
Edges are naturally polished when being laser cut and there is almost no post processing required.
Cast acrylics laser better than extruded and extruded cuts better.

Most plastics are processable , however some are not , like PVC , thick polycarbonates and teflon.
