The laser can either cut fabrics (in ways no manual method can) or selectively engrave nap away.
Cutting synthetics is marvellous with a laser as it seals the edges and
there is no fraying , it's also non contact. Engraving logos is also a
unique application as one gets a completely different effect from any
other form of marking. Flocks , appliques , embroidery etc can all be
die cut to shape with a laser.
