Leather can be amazingly laser engraved and laser cut , however leather does NOT come on a roll and to get consistent sheets of raw material is a mission , every hide is differently shaped etc. Thus we DON'T make leather products from scratch but prefer to work on existing products or faux leatherette. Key-fobs and other leather products can be beautifully engraved and the lighter the leather , the more contrast there is. For dark leathers , we fill with gold or silver metal bearing waxes which gives a foiled effect yet have some depth.
