Just about all substrates can be marked in some way with the laser ,
the beam of polarised light vaporises the substrate , often producing
high contrast marks. 3d barcodes can be engraved as well as part
numbers etc. The beauty of the laser is that there is almost no heat
affected zone and the marking is non contact.
Metals , however cannot be marked with our C02 lasers , but we do have
methods of doing this using coatings to achieve a high contrast
permanent mark. We can get to extremely fine detail and can even do
watermarks etc. The laser is a very fast and very precise way of
engraving , speak to as to whether we can mark your product. We will
test your materials first to see how it reacts.
This is an ideal system for BRANDING promotional items or very difficult items to engrave
